Meet Brittany Teasdale – Office Manager & Therapy Assistant (She/Her)

Brittany is often the first warm smile you’ll see when you arrive at The Nurtured Village – and she’s much more than just the person behind the desk. As our incredible Office Manager and Therapy Assistant, Brittany keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes while also bringing her lived experience, empathy, and passion to everything she does.

Before joining us, Brittany spent seven years in banking and admin, and for the past two years she’s been the heart of our operations at The Nurtured Village. She’s currently studying her Diploma of Counselling and co-facilitates our social groups – with plans to start working directly with clients in the near future.

Brittany brings something truly special to our team, a deep understanding of the parenting journey. As an autistic mum to autistic children, she gets the highs, the challenges, and the million little details that go into advocating, navigating NDIS, and supporting neurodiverse families. Her insight and authenticity help parents feel genuinely seen and understood – which makes all the difference.

What Brittany brings to The Nurtured Village:

She’s our NDIS superstar and admin whiz – handling referrals, scheduling, and making sure our therapists have what they need to focus on what they do best. But Brittany’s real magic? She creates a space where parents can exhale. Whether it's a chat in the waiting room or a reassuring word after a tough week, she’s there with warmth, lived wisdom, and often a great fidget toy in hand.

She’s also proud to be co-facilitating our girls' social group this term – supporting kids to connect, grow, and have fun in a safe and supportive space.

Fun fact: Brittany has the biggest fidget collection in the entire office – it’s practically legendary.
