Leyla
Art Therapist & Counsellor
Leyla is all about building trusting, affirming relationships with her clients. She believes in the power of creativity as a tool for healing – especially for children who might struggle to put their emotions into words. In her sessions, children are gently guided to externalise thoughts, build emotional insight, and strengthen their sense of identity and safety.
Jourdon
Art Therapist & Counsellor
Jourdon has a natural gift for building relationships and creating a sense of safety and belonging – whether it’s with our young clients or their grown-ups. Her psychology background brings insight and thoughtfulness to her work, and she’s always tuned in to how we can better support our families and each other.
Danielle Baker
Director
Danielle knows what it’s like to face the hard days and the hidden struggles. She also knows how powerful it can be when a parent feels genuinely supported. That’s why she built The Nurtured Village – not just as a therapy practice, but as a community where families can grow, connect, and thrive together.
Brittany
Office Manager & Therapy Assistant
Brittany brings something truly special to our team, a deep understanding of the parenting journey. As an autistic mum to autistic children, she gets the highs, the challenges, and the million little details that go into advocating, navigating NDIS, and supporting neurodiverse families. Her insight and authenticity help parents feel genuinely seen and understood – which makes all the difference.
Jo
Child and Family Counsellor
A proud advocate for neurodivergent kids, Jo’s deep understanding of how schools function helps her work alongside families and educators to create environments where children can truly thrive. Her calm, grounded presence brings a beautiful sense of balance to our team – and her ability to make any child feel seen is something truly special.
